Responsibilities:
Within our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) business, Transaction Tax Services professionals offer tax due diligence, tax structuring and technical tax expertise to our clients across multiple jurisdictions in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Work seamlessly with the Managing Director(s) to position Kroll on all relevant private equity and selected corporate tax due diligence engagements;
Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term business relationships;
Assume responsibility for the development of key client accounts and ensure that all “insights” are taken to market;
Manage the execution of buy and sell-side tax due diligence engagements for transactions engagements for private equity, lender, and corporate clients;
Work closely with the broader Kroll team to ensure the application of sound project management principles and quality assurance at all stages and phases of projects;
Understand the capabilities of our wider firm and identify opportunities to cross-sell additional services to our clients; and
Play an active role in people initiatives, including recruiting, developing and retaining staff
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years related work experience (a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in M&A tax due diligence, deal structuring, and post-acquisition planning) within UK and/or EMEA markets.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, MST or JD/LLM
Professional qualification such as ACA, CTA, ACCA, or equivalent are advantageous.
Superior analytical and problem solving skills
Proven ability to lead complex, multi-jurisdictional tax engagements and manage teams in a matrixed environment.
Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, marketing, sales and organizational skills
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, with focus on Word and Excel
